How the franchise works
One customer, multiple services, in one exclusive territory. Here is the model, stage by stage.
An exclusive territory of around 50,000 people
Franchise partners are awarded an exclusive territory with a population of roughly 50,000, built from whole, adjacent zip codes. Territories can be customised to your investment level, and many owners take two or three contiguous territories to secure a region.
Zip boundaries: U.S. Census ZCTA
Four stages, each funded by the one before it
Stage 1: DELIVER
Every franchisee launches as a handyman business — this is the model. Handyman has the highest search volume of any home service, which makes it the cheapest way to win a household, and every visit surfaces the next thing the home needs: the peeling paint, the overgrown yard, the ageing water heater. You run the estimate, close the job and collect payment; your team of handymen fulfils it.
Stage 2: RETAIN
At the close of a successful first visit, two things happen: the customer is offered a Home Maintenance Plan, and they get the free Send Me a Pro app. Plans bring scheduled maintenance visits through the year, and members get 10–15% off all handyman work depending on their plan — a permanent reason to call you first for every repair. Plans are recurring, pre-sold revenue, and they pull more handyman volume back into your core business.
Stage 3: REFER
Painting, roofing, HVAC, remodelling — everything else the household needs is referred to a vetted local preferred vendor. The vendor runs the sales call, closes the job and processes the transaction; you earn a referral commission. No capital, no hiring, no risk. You build the vendor list against real demand: wait until a customer asks, then approach a vendor holding an actual lead.
Stage 4: INSOURCE
When a referred category shows enough repeat volume, bring it in-house. You run the estimate, close the sale and collect the payment, with fulfilment by a vendor or a team you assemble — exactly the way handyman works from day one. Referral commission becomes full margin, in a category where you have already measured the demand.
Insource or refer. That's it.
INSOURCE
You record the sale and collect the payment. Your team or a vendor does the work.
REFER
The vendor records the sale. You earn a commission.
The line between the two is who records the sale and collects the payment — not who performs the work.

What the homeowner sees
A homeowner searches for a handyman, finds their local Send Me a Pro website and requests a free estimate. We act as their concierge: no haggling, no collecting quotes, no chasing contractors. Every pro is background-checked, licensed and insured; handyman work carries a one-year warranty; and we stand behind the result with a satisfaction guarantee.
After the first job, the customer manages everything — estimates, booking, scheduling, payment — in the free app. Call us, visit our website, or download the app: we take care of the rest. We're the Advil for the homeowner.
Partner with communities and property managers
The same relationships that bring homeowners in bring commercial accounts too: property managers, HOAs and residential communities, apartment communities, landlords with rental portfolios, and realtors. An HOA can put you in front of every resident with an exclusive rate. A property manager can hand you tenant turnover — the punch-list, maintenance and touch-up work that gets a unit ready for the next tenant. That is handyman work, delivered by your team, repeating on the manager's schedule.
One property manager relationship can be worth dozens of individual homeowners at a fraction of the acquisition cost.

What you actually do
No home-services experience required. You don't deliver the work — you build the business that does.
- Price the offering for your market
- Recruit, vet and onboard your pros
- Run local marketing
- Manage leads and estimates, close the sale
- Build relationships with realtors, property managers and HOAs
How this compares
Against a single-service franchise:
strip the brand off and the owner's job is identical — marketer, salesperson, customer service, with fulfilment by a team. We ask you to do the same job without the single-category ceiling.
Against lead-generation platforms:
on a lead-gen platform the contractor buys the lead, sells the job and owns the customer. Here, you own the customer, you sell the job, and you collect the payment. The platform works for you, not the other way round.
